Orders over £19.99 at Poppers and More ship free, and the quickest way there is almost always a multipack rather than a handful of single bottles. This guide sets out exactly which combinations cross the line, what each one works out at per millilitre, and when paying the £2.99 postage is actually the better deal.
Everything below uses current catalogue prices for our UK range. Delivery is UK-only, and orders placed before the 2pm cut-off are dispatched the same working day.
What the free delivery threshold actually is
Spend more than £19.99 on a single order and standard UK delivery costs nothing. Below that, you choose between Express at £2.99 or next-day at £3.99. There is no code to enter and no minimum item count — it is purely the basket total that matters.
That means the real question is not "how do I get free postage" but "what is the cheapest sensible basket that goes over £19.99". Buying three bottles you did not want in order to save £2.99 is a false economy. Buying the pack size you were heading towards anyway, and getting the postage thrown in, is not.
The price ladder, at a glance
| Format | Price | Per ml |
|---|---|---|
| 10ml single | £3.99 | 40p |
| 15ml single | £5.49 | 37p |
| 15ml single (X range) | £6.99 | 47p |
| 25ml single | £8.49 | 34p |
| Trio, 3 x 10ml | £9.99 | 33p |
| 3-pack, 3 x 10ml | £9.99 | 33p |
| 3-pack, 3 x 15ml | £13.99 | 31p |
| 3-pack, 3 x 15ml (X range) | £17.99 | 40p |
| 3-pack, 3 x 25ml | £19.99 | 27p |
Two things stand out. The bigger the bottle, the lower the per-ml cost — our 25ml bottles are the best value per millilitre in the single-bottle range at 34p. And the 3 x 25ml packs are the only products in the catalogue that clear the free-delivery threshold on their own.
Single-product baskets that qualify
Only three products hit free delivery by themselves, all of them 3 x 25ml packs at £19.99:
- English Xtra Strong — 3 x 25ml — British-branded with the St George's cross, in our largest bottle.
- Original Amsterdam Gold Extra Strong — 3 x 25ml — the Amsterdam name in the 25ml size, part of the wider Gold family.
- Who's Ya Daddy! Bears Own — 3 x 25ml — strong-tier, and the biggest total volume of any pack we list at 75ml.
At £19.99 for 75ml these work out at 27p per ml, which is the lowest figure anywhere in the range. If you already know which bottle you want and you want the most liquid for your money, this is the straightforward answer: one pack, no postage, done. You can see all three together in the Free Delivery collection.
Two-item combinations that get you over the line
If you would rather spread an order across different bottles, a pack plus a single is the usual route. A few combinations that clear £19.99:
- A 3 x 15ml pack (£13.99) plus any 15ml single (£5.49) — £19.48. Just under, frustratingly, so add a 10ml instead: £13.99 + £3.99 = £17.98 is still short. A 3 x 15ml pack plus a 25ml single at £8.49 comes to £22.48 and qualifies comfortably.
- Two 3 x 10ml packs (£9.99 each) — £19.98. One penny short of the threshold, so this is the classic near-miss. Add any 10ml single and you are at £23.97 with free postage and seven bottles.
- A trio plus a 3 x 15ml pack — £9.99 + £13.99 = £23.98, spread across six bottles and two sizes.
- An X range 3 x 15ml pack (£17.99) plus any 10ml single (£3.99) — £21.98.
The pattern is that £19.99 is an awkward number to land on with 10ml singles alone: five bottles at £3.99 is £19.95, five pence short. Two multipacks, or a multipack plus a larger bottle, is a cleaner way to get there. Browse the full set in Multipacks.
When it is cheaper to just pay the postage
Paying £2.99 and keeping your basket small is the right call more often than people assume.
If you want one 10ml bottle to try, a single at £3.99 plus £2.99 postage is £6.98. Padding that out to £19.99 to save the £2.99 means spending £13 more than you intended on bottles you may not want. Our 10ml range is all £3.99, so a first order of one or two bottles with postage paid is a perfectly sensible way to find out which labels you like before committing to a pack.
If you want a single trio or 3-pack at £9.99, the maths is closer: £9.99 + £2.99 = £12.98 for three bottles, or £19.99 for nine bottles with free postage. The second is far better value per bottle, but only if you actually get through nine. Buy the quantity you want, then check whether nudging over the threshold is cheap rather than the other way round.
The rough rule: if you are already at £17 or above, adding a £3.99 single almost always costs less than the postage you save. If you are under £13, pay the £2.99.
Mixing strengths in one qualifying order
Nothing stops you from mixing tiers in a single basket, and if you are building up to £19.99 anyway it is a good opportunity to spread across the range rather than buying three identical bottles.
A common build is a classic-strength trio for the familiar labels plus one stronger single — for example the Classic Trio — 3 x 10ml at £9.99 alongside a 25ml extra strong bottle at £8.49, which comes to £18.48. Add any 10ml at £3.99 and you are at £22.47 with free delivery and five bottles across two sizes and two strength tiers.
If you would rather stay within one family, The Gold Range spans 10ml, 15ml and 25ml bottles, so you can build a qualifying order from Gold products alone.
Frequently asked
Does the £19.99 threshold include postage?
No — it is the value of the goods in your basket. Reach £19.99 and the postage line disappears.
Does next-day delivery become free too?
Free delivery applies to the standard service. Next-day remains a paid upgrade at £3.99 if you need it sooner.
Is the threshold per order or per month?
Per order. There is no account spend to accumulate, so it is worth consolidating what you want into one basket rather than splitting it across two.
Do multipacks count towards it?
Yes, every product in the catalogue counts towards the basket total, multipacks included. Since multipacks are also the cheapest route per millilitre, they are the most efficient way to qualify.
The short version
One 3 x 25ml pack at £19.99 is the simplest free-delivery order in the shop and the best value per ml at 27p. Two multipacks, or a multipack plus a larger single, is the most flexible route. And for a first order of one or two bottles, paying the £2.99 is the cheaper and more sensible choice — there is no prize for hitting a threshold you did not need.
