Privacy Policy

Poppers and More is a trading name of PM Lifestyle Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17390038. Registered office: 186 Brent Crescent, London, NW10 7XR, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@poppersandmore.com.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and details of what you ordered. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us. Where you pay by bank transfer, we see the account name and reference shown on the payment.

When you contact us we collect your name, email address and the content of your message.

We also collect technical data about how you use the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To process and deliver your order — performance of our contract with you.
  • To respond to enquiries — our legitimate interest in running the business and supporting customers.
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.
  • To confirm you are over 18 — compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interest in selling age-restricted goods responsibly.
  • To measure how the website is used — your consent, given through the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Marketing emails — only where you have given consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with organisations that help us operate the business, and only as far as necessary:

  • Shopify, which hosts this website and processes orders.
  • Our payment provider, which processes card payments.
  • Our bank, in respect of bank transfer payments.
  • Our delivery partners, which need your name and address to deliver your order.
  • Google, through Google Analytics 4, which we use to understand how visitors use the site.
  • Professional advisers, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law.

Discretion

We understand that purchases from this site are private. Orders are dispatched in plain, unbranded packaging. Payments appear on your bank or card statement as PM Lifestyle Ltd, not as the trading name.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years to meet HMRC requirements. Enquiries that do not result in an order are kept for 12 months. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them. Analytics data is retained for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, including remembering the contents of your basket and your age confirmation. These do not require your consent and are always set.

All other cookies are set only if you accept them using the cookie banner shown when you first visit. That banner lets you accept all, decline all, or choose which categories you allow, and you can change your mind at any time through the same controls or by clearing cookies in your browser. If you decline, non-essential cookies are not set.

The main non-essential cookies we use are Google Analytics 4, which tells us things like which pages are visited and how people found the site. The cookie banner is provided by Shopify and refers to advertising as well as analytics because it covers every purpose these cookies can be used for. We do not currently run advertising or retargeting campaigns using this data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and request a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@poppersandmore.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
